the review was started with 91% battery life on galaxy s6 edge and 23% on zenfone 2 same steps and process were ran on both of the devices but at the end there was still 19% juice left on zenfone while galaxy s6 was down to 81%.
I've noticed that several process were running on galaxy s edge like B&G game was downloading on the backgroud on s6 edge and also some other even on zenfone 2.
Is zen UI is more efficient then Touchwiz ??
    Results are clear..

i am sorry to say but your review does not show the real power of zenfone 2. You have to see LBS videos, he has done some real good comparison.  Its a poor review if users have to choose between zf2 or s6. And just for the record S6 will be better because it has a better processor, and you are comparing subway, thats a real bad game to test it.   Plus s6 will be better it cost around 60k rather then 20k.  I would definitely save 40k. And have money to upgrade in another year or two. You have not shown the real use of 4gb RAM. You have to see LBS videos.

Common misconception about ram is that more = faster. Not true, the amount of ram only affects speed when you run out of it. More ram allows for more multitasking without force closes, nothing to do with actual speed which is mainly the cpu and storage read speed.

Also its kind of funny that Antutu has dedicated RAM score but you didn't show it when you are comparing ram.

This test doesnt prove anything about RAM. Running those benchmarks takes into account the processing power and Gpu aswell. When comes to processing power the S6 is well out of reach of the Zenfone. Ram management is actually a big issue for S6 right now. As you showed the zenfone appears to be managing ram better than the S6.

You never checked multi tasking…. Ram never increase processing… sufficient free RAM is in both phones…. So RAM will only give ability to multi-tasking… Open apps fast … one by one … then after that you will see difference… even when you come to first opened app…

Doesn't bigger ram means you can install more apps?

First of all you should have taken both Asus phones for comparison, the 4GB version and 2GB version! We can only compare if we have the same chipset. S6 is of a different league all together. It is an insult to S6 to actually put it up for comparison with Zenfone 2.

of course for fucking android OS you need huge amount of RAM it will help you a lot in multitasking and using the social media app.if you have a lot of social media app like skype, yahoo messenger, facebook, whats app we chat and other social media i think 4GB isnt enough and i think android processor need Hyperthreading features like intel core i series did,it will help you a lot, hyperthreading mean 1 core 2 threads its very powerful cores and make it better at multitasking..

poor review. The excess RAM comes into play only when more than usual no. of apps are running at the same time. the smartphones are indeed used as PCs. with all the chrime, facebook, messenger, twitter, whatsapp and sundry apps running at the background and youtube, torrent etc downloading at the same time watching a HD video or playing a heavy game or two is when the bigger size of RAM comes into play. Having that extra GB of RAM means that you wont have to close other apps for doing a heavy duty work nor will any app at the background autoclose or lose buffering. the excess RAM never means faster processing speed and that should have been made clear from the beginning.

intel atom quad-core 2.3Ghz Z3580 with PowerVR 6430 gpu is no match for Exynos 7420 OCTA-CORE processor with Mali T760 gpu.

now, the test should have been either between 2 devices with similar processing power and different RAM, or about how much app load can devices with different RAM bear.

all said, Asus Z2 is an excellent VFM device and much better buy than S6. S6 undoubtedly is a better product, but too expensive and not VFM.
